AUGUST  2024 The Perspective (Signature yo-yo for Jordan Hacherl) from One Drop.

OD is so proud and honored to have Jordan Hacherl on their players team.  When he visited the factory and sat in the designing “hot seat” with The Machinist (Shawn), he proposed an interesting idea: intentionally make a yo-yo with different halves. One half being rounded and curvy and the other half being angular and straight BUT making sure that they both have the exact same basic specs (diameter, width, gap, and weight).  You are getting 1 of 3 colors Red, Blue, or Green.

From Luftwerk is the STELVIA XSP (PLASTIC) – The concept summary of this yoyo was to build an “Extreme Stability Plastic” that made this model feel like a metal yoyo, even more so than the Fulvia. This was achieved by using rotational inertia numbers and comparing them directly with 6061 yoyos.

The result is a yoyo that has a closer performance of a metal yoyo even though it is made out of plastic. The branding has been heavily inspired by more Japanese & Scandinavian design elements as a contrast to the intimidating concept of performance. I will be writing an extensive article on the development of this project!

The Beater is the first CLYW signature model for U.S. National
YoYo Master Steve Brown, and the first organic we’ve produced
with our double-rim design. Manufactured with 7075 aluminum for extra durability, the Beater was designed to be fat, smooth, and fun and hold up to the kind of abuse that Steve so famously puts his return tops  through.

From Walking the Dog on concrete to creating foundational counterweight tricks that required you to throw the return top at a wall, Steve has always pushed his equipment to perform through punishment and the Beater is built to take it. Comes with a LOG counterweight and some snow tires to boot.

Holy Delays Batman. Sorry Folks.

As I said in my email May was tough BUT I upgraded
because of the wait.

That said, I give you The Kodiak’s 2nd Release. Confetti Cannon is the colorway and this has been updated from bi-metal to a monometal design, the new Kodiak features elements from the Arctic Circle series and  Manatee and has been adapted to monometal to make it more affordable and accessible to new players. The new Kodiak has a floaty and almost weightless feeling, and is a great all-around throw.

Ships with CBC Center Trac bearing.
